Our Worship Life
Holy Eucharist Rite II is celebrated each Sunday at 10:30 and on Wednesdays at noon.

Church school for school-aged children and the nursery care are held during the first part of the Sunday service. We feature a multi-aged classroom and a rotating group of teachers.

Our music ministry is led by Noreen Neuhausser and a small chancel choir that rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and sings at the 10:30 service. All are welcome to join.

We also welcome lay leader participation as readers, intercessors, greeters, and altar guild members. There is something for everyone to do!

The sacrament of healing and birthday prayers are offered on the first Sunday of the month. Rhythms of Grace, a service for families with special needs, is also held on the third Sunday of the month at 1 pm.

Formation
Classes for children are held on Sunday mornings. We use the “Seasons of the Spirit” curriculum.

Each fall and spring classes are offered for adults on weekday evenings.  Recent offerings have included a Lenten study focusing on The Lives of American Saints, a six-week study called Believing and Belonging, the Basics of the Episcopal Church Life and Worship; the Gospel of Matthew: Christology, Eschatology; the books of Genesis and Revelation; and a series on prayer titled: “Finding Stillness: Open your Hearts and Hope.”

Bible Study is held on Tuesdays at noon at our partner parish, St. Gabriel’s. All are welcome.

The Partner Parishes sponsor an active group of the Daughters of the King who meet monthly on Saturday mornings.

Outreach
We are a “Covenant to Care Parish” that participates in the “Adopt-a-Social-Worker” program.  We support the Bishops' Fund for Children, Rhythms of Grace, the Plainville Food Pantry, Food for Friends and the Bushnell Park Sandwich ministry in active, engaged mission.

Fellowship
We enjoy the “eighth sacrament” of Coffee Hour on a regular basis and look forward to our monthly pancake breakfasts, pasta supper and combined events with our partner parish, including our annual picnic.
